Stopped here for the weekend, and fueled. Great low fuel price. There are not many people around though.

Friendly airport with low fuel price at the self serve pump. I landed at 5 PM on a Sunday afternoon and the airport office was closed but the clean restrooms and pilots lounge was open and self serve fuel was available for $5.00. Met John the airport manager when I left three days later and there was no charge for tiedown. If you are in the Ocala area this would be a good choice.

Very low fuel prices : Great fuel stop. We landed on a Saturday around 5:30PM and the building was closed. No restrooms or anything. We had to fly to Ocala OCF for a restroom break/drinks/snacks.

Flew in on June 26th from Leeward Airpark. X35 has one of the lowest 100LL prices in Florida. Should be in Great deals listing. Nice airport, quick in and out. Will be back soon.

I flew into X35 on the 27th for an overnight stay. I did not see anyone but phoned John (airport manager) and left him a msg on his phone (posted on board inside). He called me back to let me know there was not an overnight fee. The bathrooms were very clean. I left on the 28th and did not see anyone this day either. I will be back...

Flew into X35 on 04/05/10 for the 5th time, gas $3.85 still best bargain in the area. However the pilots’ lounge/trailer was trashed.

This is my second stop here. Cheap fuel, good runways and to top it off--John the airport manager is a great guy that appreciates your business. If you are looking for a good stopping place this is it. These folks WANT your business.

Stopped here in a Chieftain. This is a nice fuel stop if you need no services. I didn't see anyone from the airport during my arrival (a Wednesday) or my departure (a Sunday). There is a very nice lounge/restroom area that is well kept. Thumbs up!

I was at this location on Sunday about 5:30 pm local time. The fuel was $3.54 per gallon, as advertised. There is an unattended office that is accessible 24 hrs by entering the Unicom frequency. The bathroom was spotless. I stopped here only 30 minutes from my final destination and will stop here again. Flying is very expensive, saving a dollar a gallon is well worth the fuel stop. Too bad there are not more airports with self-serve fuel at a great price.

This was my first time stopping in to Dunnellon and it was a positive experience. The manager met us while we waited number two in line for fuel and introduced himself. Very friendly and checked to see if we needed anything. There was a sign about the printer located on the self serve credit card swiper. Apparently it gets jammed but it worked fine for me. Additionally the sign and the manager said that they would get a receipt for me if needed. I intend to frequent Dunnellon more often for fuel in the future and think that it is definitely worth going a little out of the way for.

I am not sure what happened here. There is a new airport manager and there hasn't been printer paper in the self-fueler since the old friendly manager left. Don't plan on being greeted by anyone these days. Dunnellon airport has turned into a dust-bowl, no American Express at the pump.

I had a choice between OCF and X35; chose X35 based on comments in AirNav and $2.82 100LL. What a great experience. No frills, but great service, ez in and out of Ocala. Folks in the pattern provided alot of comm for this first time visitor. Roy does a great job. N2339J will be back.
