Roberts Air South has always provided excellent and friendly service. It has been a joy to visit the best FBO in South Florida.

From Bill & Cheryl Verellen, C-GXVN on 14-Jan-2012

John & Gloria & Cracker always provide a most welcome stop. Easy in and out for a quick stop or if you're staying in South Florida. Thanks from your Canadian pals!

Same great service each trip to Homestead. Always enjoy visiting with John & Gloria.

Roberts Air South is one of the friendliest FBO's you will ever find. My first visit was over 30 years ago during their grand opening. John and Gloria Roberts are fine honest folks, which is why it not surprising they have stayed in business so long. I highly recommend RAS.

Recently on a flight to Key West, I stopped at "Roberts Air South", for fuel. I had a starter problem. I was given friendly service and received an excellent repair. If you are in the Miami area, I highly recommend a stop at "Roberts Air South", at Homestead General Aviation Airport.

Another trip to the NASCAR races. The usual great service from John & Gloria. Rental car was ready when we arrived, airplane was tied down & fueled.

Easy and friendly stop for South Florida and the Keys. Excellent service with good fuel pricing. The Roberts are fine folks and do and great job. You can't go wrong. Easy in and out IFR. Busy, well kept airport with good facilities.

Another trip to the Nascar races. More of the same excellent service & visits with John & Gloria. This is where you need to go at Homestead.

Recently made an unexpected landing at X51 due to electrical failure.. Roberts Air South came to the rescue, helped with alternate travel plans and did a professional repair job in a timely manner. Friendly service from a very kind couple-- a wholehearted recommendation!

My wife and I have never been treated better at any FBO anywhere. None. Far above and beyond. AAAAA +++++

From Margie Oldenkamp on 02-Oct-2009

We stop here twice a year. Great friendly service, snacks. Nice pilots lounge. Plus an in-house IA - so if you have any airplane problems - they can be resolved here. Best and oldest FBO on the field

John & Gloria Roberts have been providing top quality service for many, many years. Others have come and gone but they are still there and will always be my choice for fuel and maintenance. I moved from Homestead to Ocala 4 years ago and still bring my Cardinal to John for annual. You will not find a better mechanic.

RAS is a great FBO. To find the RAS SS fuel, taxi East and it is located behind, east, of their hangar. You can't see it until you taxi in close.

From Wolfgang Pordzik on 30-Nov-2008

A Must: Roberts Air South: taxi to east of RY 09 - the best professional and courteous service we have ever wished for. Great fuel prices. Sheila and I have visited more than 20x recently over the last 2 years. The Roberts will take care of you - Jet or Mooney. W

Great service from John & Gloria as it has been for the past few years that we have been coming for the races. My rental car is always ready & the airplane is fueled & tied down. This is the FBO to go to when you are in Homestead.

From John Landwerlen on 18-Nov-2008

Great experience.... Everybody at the facility was extremely friendly including the dog. Fuel is about forty percent less than the 'chain' FBO's in Miami. Very convenient to the track as well. See ya next season!!!

From Michael Sobzack on 31-Mar-2008

One of the best FBO's I have visited in Florida. Very easy from start to finish - fueling, parking, rental car, and departure. Went to the Homestead Indy Car race this weekend - expected the airport to be quiet when leaving so late at night. No - the staff was waiting because they had several planes leaving late night (around midnight) and they wanted to make sure everyone was all set. Fantastic service - beyond expectations. One word of caution - a midnight departure off of 27 is a very dark departure for VFR. May want to use 36 or 9 and use the lights of Miami as a reference point until you've trimmed at cruising altitude.

Friendly people. No hangars so bring your canvas cover, because it gets windy and rainy here. Lots of training activity. Great place to park your plane, stay in Homestead, and go diving in the Keys. It's about 20 minutes from airport into Homestead. Another 30 minutes to Key Largo from Homestead. Local Enterprise office can deliver a car to the airport and pick it up, all with very little hassle. (Don't call the national call center because they cannot arrange deliveries to X51.)

A group of RV's spent the night there, prepared to launch the next morning for the Grand Turks, got fuel, rental cars and motel. Could not have been treated better.
