Visiting Georgetown
The Georgetown Executive Airport (KGTU) is located in the heart of Georgetown, Texas, on the I-35 corridor linking the northern gateway Dallas/Ft. Worth with the capital of Austin and a gateway to San Antonio in the South. As the seat of Williamson County, Georgetown is located only a short distance from Austin, making itself one of the fastest-growing areas in the United States. Founded in 1845, Georgetown is home to Southwestern University, which is the oldest university west of the Mississippi. The incredible Georgetown Courthouse Square is known as one of the most beautiful of all of Texas 254 counties.
