My wife (the PIC) and I flew our Skyhawk from FTW to 9F0 today to check out the area. There was no traffic, even on a nice VFR day. As advertised, it was unattended, but any pilot could figure out the door code. The pilot's lounge, if not luxurious, was comfortable and stocked with local soft drinks. Hats and T-shirts were available for purchase, solely on the honor system. Someone else had done so, and the note and payment were in plain sight...As was a donations jar. We also left our thanks for the hospitality. There is no taxiway & back taxiing on the somewhat narrow but good runway is the only option as there are rocks off the runway. If there's no fly-in (as there certainly was not today but advertised in the near future), there's plenty of parking. Chains are available to tie down your aircraft. I didn't need to research the loaner car--which was in plain sight--but I imagine a call to the listed phone numbers would address that. Thanks, guys (and any gals involved).

Thank you for your comments!! We love visitors and are glad you took the time to leave your thoughts. The key to the courtesy car is in a little black lockbox on the front wall of the office - to your left, if facing the door. Same code as for the door. We are working toward self-service Swift Fuel but not quite there yet. In the meantime, if you need fuel after hours please call ahead and we'll make arrangements to meet you. See you again soon!

Great airport. THEY HAVE FRESH UNLEADED!! Beyond that downtown Dublin holds a very interesting surprise. Stopped there for fuel and lunch, very pleasant experience.

What a great little airport. No one was around when I was there, but fortunately I had a ride from in town. Nice little Pilot lounge and all the facilities you need. They have a courtesy car there... But I couldn't see how to get/find the keys. Huge bonus was the Dublin Soda Company drinks in the fridge. I brought a Creme Soda home to my kids and now they can't wait to come to Dublin with me to tour the plant. Only two things they need is Self Serve fuel and some instructions for accessing the courtesy car.
