Signature Aviation

Signature-Boston is located at Logan International Airport in East Boston, just three miles northeast of downtown Boston. This capital of the Bay State boasts a diverse economy reflecting its economic and cultural history. The area's industrial roots reach to the birth of industrial America. The earliest water-driven mills were built nearby. Whether looking for the past or the future, Signature-Boston is the place to start your Boston tour.

Prior permission is required from the airport for transport category aircraft, which the FBO can assist in obtaining.

Flew in 9/30/25 Piper Seneca. $500 for 30 minutes. I'd expect to pay more for an airport like BOS but the $155 security fee for the guy we walked past 5 minutes before to look at our license before we walked out on the ramp is over the top. What security did that provide?

One of the biggest questions GA pilots have before flying into a larger airport like this are fees, which are rarely published in detail. I just received a quote today (8/27/25) for a Piper Dakota (less than 3, 000 lbs MTOW) for a quick turn to drop off a passenger for a commercial flight departing KBOS. Here is what I was quoted for your reference: $55.00 Handling Fee (waived with 10 gals) $17.00 Infrastructure Fee $33.00 Landing Fee $70.40 GA Fee $155.00 Security/Screening Fee $63.90 Parking =============================== $394.30 TOTAL for a quick turn dropoff in a light single Needless to say, this is way more than most GA pilots can afford. More GA friendly destinations are KBED, KOWD, KBVY
