Flew up this afternoon from Southport, KSUT. Duplin's fuel is the cheapest around: $3.77 for 100LL! I had been planning to visit this past Sunday, but we were fogged in. But when I called ahead on Saturday, A.J. Of the FBO gave me detailed instructions on the use of the self-serve fuel pump, since the FBO is closed on Sunday mornings. When I visited today, there were COVID signs on the fuel pump saying that fuel is now strictly self-serve [it's normally assisted when FBO open]. I followed the instructions but couldn't find the last critical element: the switch to turn on the pump! I flagged down the fellow who was out mowing, and he kindly came over. Josh showed me where the switch was, and said they'd try to mark it a bit better. He couldn't have been friendlier, and we had a good chat. Highly recommended!

KDPL is a regular stop for us on way south and northbound. Excellent facilities, awesome self-serve facility and avgas price are great calling cards. Thanks George for the warm welcome.

The airport has great self-serve fuel (although not idiot proof) and a great staff. I was in a rush fueling to keep my progress south from NJ to FL in my 1946 J3 Cub. Unfortunately, I did not realize until my next stop that I left my credit card in the self-serve machine. I called and left a message. Josh Raynor called me back later that evening and confirmed the card was there and he would be placing it in the mail. I received the card today and will certainly be utilizing Duplin County as my fuel stop in the future. Thanks You Guys!

Superior service with a smile! These folks are all FANTASTIC! We broke down in our company 414. Mr. George, Mr. Reuben, Scott and Josh all went out of their way to accommodate us and help us get our airplane back in the air and back on our way! I can't say enough about their commitment to excellence and Southern charm and hospitality! If you ever have a chance to stop in, do yourself a favor and do it! Excellent fuel prices too! Thank you all for being there and doing what you all do so very, very well! We'll be back on one of our trips to FL!
