Easy and efficient in and out! "Enterprise FBO" has much better rental rates than Hertz at the airport, but you must plan ahead: car is at the airport when you arrive. No overnight charge if you buy fuel (single engine, anyway).

Recently boarded here bringing home a plane from Mooney. They were very sharp, friendly, accommodating, and definitely knew Mooneys to boot. Prices are reasonable and staff are patient and helpful. Also easy to return a rental car here if you need to (I checked ahead).

KERV is a well run full service airport that has both avionics and A&P shops on field. That along with the best price for 100LL SS makes Kerrville just a great airport. If you come in during the day you will be treated like a rock star by the great line techs at the FBO. Always great service year after year.

This is a nice airport and facilities, and the staff was helpful and friendly, but I took a couple of stars off because they won't let you have the courtesy car overnight. We had called in advance and were assured that we could get a taxi or Uber to a hotel, this turned out to be untrue; there were no taxis or Ubers available. After some convincing the guy at the desk called a higher up and got permission for us to take the courtesy car overnight as long as we were back by 7:00 AM, which was no problem. Not allowing the courtesy car out overnight is a bad policy, which I've only ever seen at one other airport in my travels.
