Perhaps the best service I have ever received at an FBO! Staff is helpful and friendly. Facilities are top notch - always treats and beverage available. Multiple pilot lounges, kitchen, quiet room. Hell, even has a pool table! Great job to management and staff.

Fantastic service again from Base Ops during our recent trip to Fort Myers. It was raining when we arrived; two line guys were ready for us when we taxied in, brought the Hertz rental car over and tied down the Bonanza. Base Ops is a beautiful modern facility with very friendly staff.

A world class FBO operation in all respects. Landed Thursday around noon. FBO line crew marshalled me into parking and tied my plane down immediately. And our rental car was immediately brought out to us adjacent our plane. The FBO is really the Taj Mahal! All associates with the FBO were top notch. "Tia", a CSR at Base Ops, found us a great hotel room over the Christmas holidays for substantially less than anything I could find via the usual travel sites (Priceline, Kayak etc.) and hotel sites. A lot less! This will be my FBO whenever we return to this area!

A lot of work is being done at the field. Been going on for a while. Make sure you check your Notams. Navigation equipment is out, taxiways are closed. Everyday itís something new. I believe once itís all completed it will be a great place to fly in and out of.

Long overdue pirep, but Base Ops is a pleasure to do business with. From the line guys to the desk, my experience was absolutely fantastic! A shout out to the ground controller as well. Super friendly provided progressive taxi instructions and some history about the field. No doubt I will always choose FMY when in the area just for the Base Ops experience.

From Carl Simons on 03-Apr-2017

Been going here since long before they opened the new facility. The people, from the front desk to the Linemen always are courteous and most eager to make your visit pleasant. On one occasion I landed with a plane full of items to transfer from our old home up North to our new home in Ft. Myers. Two linemen helped me carefully move all of these items, which took over 40 minutes and filled an SUV, cheerfully, and insisting that they wanted to help me! They could not have been more helpful and pleasant and even joking as we worked. About the controllers: Extremely helpful, and courteous even when working traffic from both RSW and FMY. There has been a lot of Taxiway work at Page recently, with up to 10-12 Taxiway NOTAMS issued, but they have always given me perfect progressive taxi instructions to the Self-Serve when I wanted to use it! "No fear, we'll get you there" one said! A great airport, and people from approach to the FBO.

Great Friendly FBO and the best choice if in the area. Stopped in for new years week. Used the self serve fuel twice and really appreciate the great price!! FBO is very nice with ample parking. Overnight for a twin is $10 with the first three nights waived with a fuel purchase. Much better pricing than Naples making this my only choice when coming to SW Florida!!

Just wanted to give an update since I have been using this FBO for several years. The service is still top notch! The linemen are knowledgable and helpful, front desk girls are great, Hertz counter in FBO is fantastic, tower folks are friendly, and beautiful runways all for a very reasonable price.

We evacuated a fleet of 31 aircraft to FMY for Hurricane Matthew. The folks at BaseOps took excellent care of us, facilitating all of our logistics needs and were extremely kind and accommodating. I've been flying into FMY for 25+ years and have always viewed it as one of the friendliest GA airports in the US. As many other airports have become increasingly fee happy and small aircraft unfriendly, Page field has remained an example of how our aviation industry supports each other and our communities. Thanks for taking us in!

From Jerry Groendyke on 10-Oct-2016

Line staff, front desk staff all excellent. Great fuel price, nice building, couldn't be any better.

From Pablo Miliani on 08-Oct-2016

Base Ops went our of their way to assist us on staying away of the hurricane. Everyone at Page from Controllers to Ops, and specially the folks at Base Ops gave us the best welcome and made us feel safe! Special mention to Blanca for managing to get a space for everyone who made it. Thank you again, and we will be back (minus hurricane rush next time).

Base Ops at Page Field is everything that a GA FBO should be. Great pricing on fuel and car rentals. Fast, efficient and friendly service. Nice facility. Easy in and out both from runway and highway. I made Hertz reservation online. ($16 for weekend day) Due to the Hertz weekend hours, it said that car would not be available before 9AM. We planned to arrive about 8 AM. I called Base Ops and they said, no problem. When I landed and taxied to ramp, I was marshaled to convenient tie down spot. The car was sitting adjacent to the parking spot and the line person had the contract for me to sign. No need to tow aircraft. (I like that!) We put our stuff in car and drove to out gate and stopped by to give desk a contact number, then we were on our way. On the return that evening, we dropped car with desk and used the clean facility, then were on our way. SS pricing are very reasonable ($3.36) and no service charges with purchase, even SS. Keep up the good work. Highly recommend.

As a result of our pre-departure call, Blanca at Base Ops helped us decide to land here instead of Naples in order to avoid a $100 landing fee, $50/night ramp fees, and higher fuel prices. Then she drove it home saying with a laugh, "We are friendlier here, too!" KFMY has a $10/night ramp fee, for which they'll waive 3 nights if you buy fuel. We always enjoy the friendly female controller in the Page tower. The only hiccup (no fault of the FBO) was an offer by Cheyenne, the Hertz rep, the day before to hold a Dodge Charger for us. Instead, when we arrived, he gave us a Kia. We were disappointed in the car and in his response when we asked him about it. Free popcorn and great coffee selections from the FBO helped us try not to think about our Hertz hurts.

I flew through twice recently. The first time I had no idea where the self-serve was (It's on the Southeast ramp by the app end of Rwy 31), so I wound up at base ops. Even though I called and told them I was a quick turn, they had me taxi all the way up by E2 on the west ramp. The second time I used the self-serve. Base ops was friendly enough, but it would have been nice if they didn't put me WAY out of the way for no reason. There was plenty of room on the ramp. The self-serve however was the cheapest around. Saved $$$ fueling up on my way to EYW from BTR, then headed back to NY.

I stayed overnight in Fort Meyers 2/19/16 and parked my Malibu Mirage on the ramp at Base Operations. You would think that since they are the only FBO at a busy airport the staff wouldn't be friendly or have reasonable fuel prices. I was pleasantly surprised! Staff was friendly and helpful and fuel was very reasonably priced. I asked to have my plane placed in a hangar but since I got in at 6 pm there were many other requests for hangar space. I was happy to receive a call a couple hours later that they were able to get me in the hangar. Definitely will use them again in down in that area. Well managed operation!

If you're flying into the Ft. Myers or Naples area this is definitely the best choice by far. I have to go to North Naples several times per year and choose this airport over KAPF hands down. The FBO is first class along with the front desk personnel and linemen. They also have friendly Hertz people in the FBO. Very reasonable fuel prices, great runways, very friendly tower. It's a no-brainer! Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

From Douglas I. Kirkland on 27-Dec-2015

This is my 3rd visit this year to FMY Base Ops. Each visit has been nothing shy of professional, pleasant, and professional. From the first contact to the last, all were thoroughly efficient. I would like to particularly compliment the front desk staff who we so nice and pleasant. Also, a particular shout out to Joe who helped give directions to our passenger who was lost on the way to the airport via the phone! Thanks to all, and I really appreciate the ease of using the crew car!

From Wolfgang Weimer on 24-Oct-2015

Nice facility, great Avgas prices and free courtesy car from Hertz counter.

From Deepak Bansal on 20-Oct-2015

This is the airport to go to in SW Florida. First and foremost, the FBO is great. Nice facilities, and they will waive overnight parking fees for a 10 gallon fuel purchase (as opposed to Naples, which also has a nice FBO, but you can't get the $20/night fee waived no matter how much fuel you purchase). Also odds are pretty good that the full serve fuel price is better than self-serve at your home airport. ATC is also extremely friendly. Will definitely be back!

From Douglas I. Kirkland on 07-Oct-2015

Arrived in our C182M/1969 and our experience was totally professional in every respect. I have been here in a twinjet, but this was my first trip in my own airplane with my favorite wife copilot! Cheryl had our crew car waiting, easy sign up, cheap self-fuel on the south side of the airport, and all around a great experience! Thanks Cheryl and Base Ops, keep up the great service!

From Larry Wixom on 30-Jun-2015

What a beautiful facility!! We stopped here on out way to Key West for gas, which was the cheapest in the area. Enroute we developed a transponder issue and found the airport also has a great avionics shop near the self serve pumps. Tomlinson Avionics got us going within an hour. Everyone at the airport was the greatest. Even the tower was very friendly.
