After reading the prior reviews, I was pretty worried about flying in to here. First, the main runway has been repaved. Then, they have full service fuel priced at $5.50 per gallon. But the best part is Randy, who is a one-man airport crew. He does everything and is super nice. I was very impressed.

The infrastructure of the airport is in poor condition. The airport's runways and taxiways are overgrown with grass. Several of the hangers are collapsed and burned out. The FBO was locked up when I arrived, and there was no self-serve fuel. I had to fly to the next nearest airport to fuel up. I would not recommend stopping here if at all possible.

It appears that the airport owner (the city?) is not interested in maintaining the property. Vegetation is growing up through the joints in the concrete and the runway markings on runway 13/31 are in poor condition. It would probably be best to have a self-serve pump rather than having to call someone in from town to fuel aircraft. Being able to access the building via a keypad would also be a plus.
