GWO has no self-serve 100LL, thus arriving late in the evening, I had to call and wait for someone to arrive. After waiting 20 minutes in 30-degree temps for the attendant to arrive (I couldn't find a pilot lounge or any indoor shelter at all), I was told GWO has a 20-gallon minimum for pumping at night. 20 gallons would put me very close to max gross weight, but the attendant insisted I would not get a drop of gas if I didn't agree to take it all. On top of that, I was charged an extra $75 for the privilege of having a native Mississippian pump my gas for me. GWO needs to get some self-serve pumps. I won't be stopping there again.

The tower asked me if I needed any services when I landed at 3:15 pm -- a first -- I momentarily thought it was odd coming from the tower. Anyways 10 minutes the line boy came roaring up in his pickup and topped me off. I didn't really need fuel. When I paid, he informed me they close at 3pm on Sat and Sunday and he was charging me a $75.00 call out fee. Ok, enjoy it. It will be the last penny you see from me! No notice. No disclosure. Just bend over. Their gas is higher than Grenada's just a few miles away. They won't pour the oil they sell you; the place is a dump. BUYERS BEWARE!

Really laid back FBO. Great fuel price. I love the Southern Hospitality. No one gets in a rush but they make sure all your needs are addressed. Tower is the same way. The good news is RW 18/36 is going to be resurfaced. The runway is very hard to pick up on an approach.
