On a trip from Maine to Montana, I landed in Latrobe shortly after my alternator failed. The great people at Vee Neal provided extremely good service--finding accommodation for my dog and I, providing rides, and getting the plane back in the air. You don't always get to choose your airport when equipment fails, so I was extremely lucky that Latrobe was a short way off the nose when the alternator went.

Friendly efficient service with good restaurant an easy walk from the ramp. People are great, bathrooms clean and the lounge very comfortable. I stopped just for fuel and lunch in the nice restaurant next to the FBO.... An easy 2 minute walk. Great rest, food and fuel stop with super nice people anxious to serve you. Would stop there anytime I am in the area.

Best FBO I've been to in Pennsylvania! Wonderful service. I called to inform I'll be landing late and when I arrived I was warmly greeted by two excellent lineman. A courtesy car and hotel was arranged and they carried my luggage. I plan on returning here again!

I had to make an unscheduled stop at KLBE this past weekend while ferrying a PA32/260. We arrived after the tower closed, about 11 PM and called the after hours number on the door. Chris (one of three of them at the FBO) meet us shortly afterwards, opened up a hangar to bring my plane in from the rain, set us up with a crew car, and took great care of us. The next morning, on a Sunday, Chris called in one of the mechanics to take a quick look at the engine - we ran into carb icing - as the plane was new to us. Given the all clear we proceeded on our way down to Virginia. Great service after hours. I couldn't recommend them more.

Nice facility and nice crew. After I borrowed the crew car for dinner, I brought back 3 DQ Blizzards: one for the CSR, 2 for the line guys. When I reviewed my fuel invoice after my trip, I wasn't happy that I was charged the non-CAA fuel price, even though I had shown my CAA card to the CSR and even though I am a repeat customer. Vee Neal promptly issued a refund. But I don't remember the last time an FBO made a mistake and charged me too low a price.
