A great place to learn to fly. Affordable airplanes, and Delcy Park is an excellent CFII.

In the process of getting by BFR after many years away from flying, and about to start on instrument rating. Very positive experiences so far. Nice facilities, helpful staff, competent instructors.

I've had only good experiences at Gorge Winds. Great fuel service as well as friendly and helpful staff. TTD is one of the prettiest airports in the area with spectacular views and easy access to the city. Gorge Winds is yet the best FBO in the area.

Great people, Great services and plenty of parking. I have been at George Winds for 4 years and have always had great experiences. Fuel service is great and fast if you give even a short amount of notice. FBO is clean and inviting. A great place to talk planes with very knowledgeable staff. Thank you to all the George Winds staff. Keep Flying!!

I've had an excellent experience at Gorge Winds Aviation. It is a hub for the local aviation community in one of the most beautiful places to fly. ATC staff is outstanding and helps us work under KPDX traffic. The commute to Portland is a breeze compared to VUO, PDX or HIO. If you're looking for fuel/services or flight training in the greater Portland area, this is your best bet.

Amazing FBO and great people. Very friendly staff and Instructors are excellent and accommodating to all your flying needs. A+ management keeps the training fleet and maintenance safe and up to date. Courtesy cars available and only minutes from downtown Portland, The amazing Columbia River Gorge, Restaurantsí, Shopping, and lodging. Gorge Winds Aviation is an excellent spot for all your aviation needs.

Contrary to other comments, the service I have experienced has been exceptional. Prompt fuel service, access to facilities for flight planning, knowledge and shared aviation training, exceptional flight training, always smiling and always looking to go above and beyond. Been with them for 5 years. They are the best and as good as any I have experienced.

Flew into Troutdale last month and stopped for some fuel. Wish I wouldn't have. The FBO was clean, I'll give them that, and it would have been nice if it was 1987, but it's so outdated and tacky. When I flew in and walked in the building, I walked up to the desk and it was like I wasn't even there. Getting someone's attention was an inconvenience for them, and when I asked for a top off he was short and rude telling me I just have to be patient and wait. Ok? Horrible FBO, horrible service, and the most unfriendliest people I've come across in a long time at a GA airport. Port of Portland should be embarrassed and find somebody else to provide these services.

No line service so I had to guess where to park since the markings are mostly worn off. (And then I later got reprimanded for parking in the wrong place...) I had to go out of my way to get someone's attention about getting fuel. Came back two hours later to find they hadn't fueled it. Then listened to the guy rant about politics with the airport management while waiting for him to fuel my plane. Between high fuel prices and bad service, I won't be going here again.

High fuel prices, slow full service, billing errors. Other than that, fine.
