Due to paving at our home base, we recently relocated our aircraft to Lowndes County Airport. Until this transition, I had not met Dan or his family, and it has truly been a pleasure working with them. Dan is an exceptional individual who has made a meaningful impact at the airport. His commitment to service is evident in everything he does. Whether it's early Sunday morning, late at night, in cold weather or heavy rain, he is consistently there and willing to help in any way possible. That level of dedication and professionalism is rare. I would highly recommend Lowndes County Airport for fueling services or as a stop on your cross-country travels. The service, support, and hospitality are first-class.

Stopped in today for the cheap fuel. What a great spot! Dan and his wife work their ass off for the love of GA. Older FBO, but cleaner than the Atlantic FBO I had just left. Y'all, if you fly within 50 miles of there, stop in and support them!

Arrived to find another airplane on the fuel pump so stopped short. Dan parked me and later reeled out the long hose so I wouldn't have to move my airplane. I had been in the air over three hours so eager to go relieve myself. Dan refueled my airplane while I was gone. Nice way to enjoy "self-serve." Facilities were nice, refrigerator was stocked. Couldn't ask for more.

We had an evening trip to UBS on 9/19/25. I called ahead to coordinate transportation needs. Dan took care of everything needed and even helped in our aircraft refueling from the self-serve pump. He dropped my passengers off where they needed to go and then took me along with his family to pick up take-out food. I then had the pleasure of sitting with Dan, his wife and daughter at the airports outside patio table to enjoy dinner and a lovely evening. They were very thoughtful and made sure I had everything needed while I waited for pax. I highly recommend stopping at UBS. Such wonderful people!

Made a fuel stop on July 31st 2024 here. Dan is top notch, and was starting our refuel before we could exit the plane! Cold water and good FBO facilities were ready to go. Easy in and out of the field for this quick stop. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
