EXPLORE SERVICES

Offering a first-class FBO, Air Charter, Flight School, Aircraft Hangars, Airport & Aircraft Maintenance, on-site Rescue & Firefighting, Security Force Patrol, Air Traffic Control, Wildlife, Safety, Airfield Management, Airport Management, Economic Development and more – we think you’ll find MRB well positioned to meet and exceed your expectations.

OUR HISTORY

Within 20 years of the Wright Brothers’ first powered flight at Kitty Hawk – likely the first airport in West Virginia was established here. MRB has a fascinating history as a pioneering airport and one that has experienced great change over nearly 100 years of existence. Be sure to check out our local Aviation History museum, our collection of hundreds of Aviation-related books and materials and of course, the view from our terminal restaurant where observing the miracle of flight still brings excitement and fascination to visitors of all ages.

OUR FUTURE

Our recent flight path has been one of upward momentum. As the only general aviation reliever airport in West Virginia and one of the few in the Washington-Baltimore region – we aim to grow our tally of based aircraft and businesses. As we’ve hosted a military airlift wing for nearly 60 years now – we are working hard to attract civilian air cargo operators so they too may call MRB home. As we like to say: “come grow with us!”

WEST VIRGINIA'S

LARGEST
AIR FIELD

Located within two hours’ flight-time of most East Coast and Mid-West population centers, MRB is ideally situated for hosting domestic and international business activity and a broad array of aviation services.

FEATURED BUSINESSES

MRB Aviation and the MRB Foundation would like to thank all who came by for our Pancakes and Planes event. Even through the rain showers, it was a huge success! We appreciate the community’s continued support of the airport and events hosted over the years.
