Auburn Airport, CA

Here`s a fun airport with lots of interesting aircraft: homebuilts, warbirds, antiques. On a good flying day, you`ll see them come out: Christen Eagles, Pitts Specials, a T-28, Reno racers, couple of T-6`s, RV's, you name it. Kenny Buck may show up from Nevada County in his N3N3. Much more.

You can buy 80 and 100 octane fuel at the 24 hour self serve Wings gas pumps, have a great breakfast or lunch at the Wings Cafe, a great place to visit.

Rent a car from Gary at the Wings gas pumps and take a ride into Old Town Auburn - A Gold Rush era town with a great deal of history and good restaurants.
