Nice airport, reasonable fuel price, courtesy car, FBO open 24/7, fuel on a self serve credit card reader. They have an A&P Richard who lives on field and is a pilot’s friend - helpful, reasonable, and available... If you stop in say Hi to Richard and his dog Mutely. Lights on 122.9, not CTAF.

I stopped here on my way to Dayton, Ohio. It's an easy in, easy out, airport with a no-frills building for restrooms and snacks. If the wind is strong from the north, be prepared because of the trees on the north side of the east-west runway! Fuel price can't be beat for the area but don't expect anyone to answer the radio on Unicom.

Very nice people! I'll be back! There is a hotel in Cynthiana - the Evergreen Motel. Not a magazine cover I suppose, but the room was clean - with TV, microwave & fridge for $50. There are also several places in town to get a meal.

Brand new fuel pump; self-serve so it's 24 hours! Extremely nice people. Also, the plans for a new FBO are in the works. As of now, it's no frills but a great stop.

Stopped by for fuel, and found everything great. Brand new tank, pumps, and credit card reader. Good facilities. Person also came out to assist us during the fill. I'll definitely be back!

Extremely nice people at this airport. Their fuel price is about the cheapest anywhere. I wish more FBO's believed in keeping the price down to earth like this airport. We'll be back.

Did not verify that Richard would be there the day I planned my fuel stop en route to Detroit. Bad wx and more climbing than planned meant that after landing I did not have enough fuel for a reasonably safe hop over to the nearest airport with fuel. Richard was gone to the Doctor and not coming back, but fortunately, he left the door open with a phone and phonebook. My 140 is STCed for auto fuel, so called several tow services and finally got one to bring out 10 gallons of gas so I could fly to fuel. Nice little FBO amongst the cornfields of KY. Make sure Richard is not at the Doc before you go there.

Very friendly country airport. Fuel was priced at $3.25 as advertised. Very basic field. Weather computer available and they will let you use the phone for flight planning. Gentleman who ran the place was very friendly and helped with a fast turn around on the Warrior. They do have a soda machine won't take bills so bring change. They were all out of food when I landed due to a young eagles day. A good place to stop.
