Good price, and 95% of this operation is great. The 5% that isn't, is the following: not full service as no one was there the two "normal" times I have stopped in, Jet-A nozzle leaks when pump on, static line rewind spring is weak, motor to rewind Jet-A hose is not strong enough to pull in extended hose, Jet-A hose is major heavy, a lighter hose would do wonders, operation is a little confusing. Fixing a few things would make this an excellent fuel stop.
Stopped for fuel and found it to be a winner - fuel station well laid out, functional and lit. Good 5, 000'runway and VOR/RNAV approaches. Port-a-pot behind the fuel station but no paper supplied. Although a modern-type self serve, no receipt was printed, a slight hassle if you should need one, and fuel prices were not posted or given...(so I might need to submit another review AFTER I get the statement!)
I have been stopping here for several years now. Good fuel prices and easy to use fuel system accepting credit cards. Sparky runs a great airport. The facility is always very clean and neat. They have a courtesy van and Sparky is always helpful and friendly. This is a great stop with excellent runways and approaches. Sparky's dedication makes this a wonderful airport.
