The most friendly airports are privately owned public access airports, and 15G is no exception. You get the red carpet treatment without the red carpet. Real flying still takes place at this airport. Fuel and tie-down reasonable for this day and age.

I returned to flying late in 2007. I have worked during the past several months with a great instructor at Skypark. This is a fun place where everyone makes you feel welcome. I'm renting single Cessna for about the same rates as when I learned to fly in 1986.

Very friendly little airport. I was lured in by the report on another web site that fuel was $3.92. Turns out the price for transients were $4.75. This airport has a very short, narrow runway and the tightest ramp I have ever seen in North America, but it runs an extremely active flight school, and on a Sunday morning the place was hopping. Would that all airports were so vibrant! Not a suitable stop for transients however.
