Nice place to stop. I stopped by for pick-up (rideshare) enroute to Airventure and they had the best fuel price for the entire trip. The downside to that? Well it was such a good deal that on the ride back the price was the same but they were out and I did my drop and went to KWDR. I will stop again, but call ahead.

Ii had been here many, many times for fuel. Well, no longer. There was no fuel today. There was no sign at the pump, no Internet notice, nothing. This isn't the worst part. THEY DON'T CARE! An airport board member came out and told me and two other customers that the airport manager is unavailable. That he tried to order fuel last Wednesday and could find none. NOT! I left 19A and went to KGVL. When I told my story there, the manager at GVL smiled and told me that fuel is available. They need a new airport manager and the airport board needs to acquire a customer service attitude. Be careful. Don't go to 19A without enough fuel to go somewhere else.

Fuel price as advertised. In and out quickly. Pump in on the NE side of the field by the old FBO sign. Runway is good shape and easy to find, I did not go inside the FBO building.

Wow! When I checked "good" I mean REALLY GOOD. $4.68/gallon and they helped me with the self serve too! Small airport atmosphere, with friendly people. I came because of the price of fuel but this is a great airport to pick someone up at, or to use as your enroute stop.

Easy airport to get into. Nice runway and ramp area. Stopped for a refuel and break, perfect. SS fuel system worked fine and the hose is plenty long for a twin Cessna. The lounge was nice with WiFi for our use.
