Amazing experience. I flew in with my wife and two young children and stayed for a week. Airport manager went way out of his way to provide excellent service. He answered all our questions on the phone when we called and he was there when we arrived and departed to help with everything. Rental car was available when we arrived, cheap fuel, lots of tie downs & hangar space available. Beautiful approach, easy drive to Blue Ridge, Georgia. Highly recommend if you're flying into the area. We'll be back! A&P on the field if you need any maintenance or unexpected issues. Super friendly staff, they even helped push the Mooney to the pump to keep from prop blasting my family as they had a picnic in their outdoor gazebo. Thanks for the hospitality!

I don't think I can say anything that hasn't been said within these reviews. The most personable and professional FBO I've seen in awhile. Alan could not be more courteous or accommodating. I have family moving to the area and I will definitely be making this my field of choice when returning. Beautiful airfield and very competitive fuel. My only regret was I wish I had purchased some fuel. Although I didn't need any additional, it was the least I could have done for all that free hospitality and free overnight tie down! Alan, I promise to top her off next time!!

To begin, the airport is in such a picturesque setting. The fuel price is the lowest around and the self-service pump is in great shape. We had an issue with our C-210 and had to return to the field. All of the people we spoke to are extraordinarily friendly. We got a recommendation to call Shane (an A&P and IA). Shane is a great mechanic - very knowledgeable. Aside from being a fantastic mechanic, Shane has a great personality and he truly cares. I've never seen such a high level of service. I would highly recommend Whitewater Aviation if you're visiting the area or just flying through.

Flew in from KCSG for a day trip with family/friends to go whitewater rafting on the Ocoee. Alan was super-friendly and helpful through the whole process from pre-arrival planning to departure. The field is gorgeous from the air and obviously well maintained esp compared to a lot of other small county-owned airports I've been to in the past. It is also very close to Ducktown and McNaysville and all the attractions there. Access to the field is 24/7 and self-serve fuel prices were very competitive. I wish there was Uber/Lyft options, but this is not unexpected given the small population of the area and of course rental car can be easily arranged. That said, we will definitely be coming back!

Top shelf treatment at 1A3. Shane is first class. He stayed late to meet us with rental car from Enterprise and then pushed our twin Cessna into the hangar. Delayed departure a few days, very accommodating and always happy to help...I wish everyplace were like Copperhill Tennessee!

Great experience. Called to find out about tie downs and elected to use the community hangar at only $20/night. WOW Long Island is $250 per night. Shane met us and gave us the info on how to get into the hangar. We showed up five days later to leave and discovered a flat nose tire on our RV-7A. Shane helped me change the tube. Great service, great people, and great location. We will be back to Whitewater Aviation soon. Thanks Shane.
