We flew in on Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and out again on Saturday. The FBO staff was courteous, the building clean, and nearly deserted. This was my introduction flight to mountain flying, and it was exciting and informative. Was I supposed to pay for tying-down? Sorry.

We fly into Franklin often and always find them friendly and helpful. The terminal and all facilities are new and very clean. Neal, Mitch, and the entire crew do a great job of caring for the customer and the planes. It has become our favorite airport.

What a neat airport! Although it was one of the more unusual approaches I've had. Friendly and attentive staff, very nice FBO. A great place to fly...As long as it's VFR!

Neal runs a great place. Our second visit. Same friendly service and atmosphere as last time, last month. This is one of the nicest airports I have visited in over 40 years of flying.

Highly recommend. Very friendly & helpful staff. Quiet airport. I went there on 8/24/05 (from south FL) and stayed 4 days. I had called ahead to have an Enterprise Rent-a-car there, and they brought it out to my Cherokee 140 on the ramp. They also towed the plane to fuel it and put it in the tie-down area. Overnights were $7.00. Gorgeous mountain area, however, when I arrived vis was 4 miles, so I came up from "foothills" VOR at 6500 and decended over the airport (2000 ft elevation). No instrument approaches available.

Probably one of the most beautiful airports I have ever been too. Can be dangerous however, because there are mountains all around. Check the weather ahead of time to make sure it will be VFR when you get there or you ain't getting in....safely that is. Staff is friendly and supportive with a clean and modern FBO. I didn't get the fuel prices because I just dropped in to pick up and pax and was out again in a flash. Be careful admiring the beautiful scenery while on approach...it can be distracting and concentration in required getting in here.

Friendly and busy little airport. If unfamiliar, call ahead and get directions for the VFR Wal-Mart Approach, and I would likewise recommend landing on 25 and taking off on 7. $7 overnight ramp fee, not waived with fuel purchase. 100LL was $3.29/gallon.
