Nice folks came out and chatted and helped me fuel my plane. Cute little self service FBO including courtesy car. I'll be back.

I arrived at the airport last weekend to find a great FBO, KMA Aviation. What a great little facility and fantastic fuel prices. I used the courtesy car to run into town and found some friendly faces that were very helpful at the airport.

KMA is what aviation is all about. I cannot say enough good things about this FBO! My personal story is this: Flying truly cross-country in a Cessna 150 for multiple days can be tough and you never know where you might be held up for the night or a few days. I arrived at 10PM at 1F0 with 100F night temperatures and had heard about the KMA FBO from AirNav. I fueled up, tied down, and was able to take a much needed shower in the air conditioned FBO which is accessible by code 24/7. To be able to get overnight fuel and a shower and oil if needed was such a comfort. The next day I had the pleasure finding out that the name KMA is means "Keep More Aviators”! Well they have done exactly that! The hospitality of the owner and surrounding hangars was the epitome of Southern Hospitality meeting Aviation Camaraderie. One of the neighboring hangars (Thanks Tyler) offered to let me check weather on his computer. KMA is the best FBO I have ever been to and is tailored perfectly for GA!

20AUG201, I had business in Ardmore. I had called ahead to KMA to inquire about a courtesy car and received polite, friendly information. I found the "pilot shack" is not only brand spankin' new, but was also squeaky clean. (I hope the flight that arrived as I was leaving didn't leave a mess...Their small child was out of control!) The courtesy car is solid, reliable, and has COLD A/C! (OAT 104F) If you need fuel, there's no 2-mile walk to the FBO - your plane is right outside the door. Though 1F0 has changed since I was a teenager, I'm sure glad KMA is there now.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the pilot's shack. One of the best I have seen at a small airport: Bathroom with shower, TV and snacks. Courtesy car was adequate. Very close to the lake for summer fun.

The harsh reality is that there are two types of folks in the aviation business - those who want to take advantage of the unwary and then those who bend over backwards to help out. The folks who run KMA are clearly the good guys - and doing all they can to keep us all flying. My teenage kids love the small but comfortable pilot's lounge. In fact, this was there first exposure to the honor system. They simply could not believe that soft drinks, snacks and pilot supplies were openly available and that the business owners simply expected you to leave your payment in a coffee can. Fortunately for all of us there are still some good guys out there. The FBO is a self-serve unit, but if you are lucky you will meet up with owners, Rusty, Mark, or Darrell, when you stop in.

KMA is a GREAT GREAT small town FBO. Honor system for everything from Cokes to oil. Fantastic FBO facilities with excellent amenities. I will continue to stop there whenever I'm in the area.

Great FBO! I stop here whenever I'm in the area because of the cheap gas. This last weekend I stopped again and they had an FBO building so new you could still smell the lacquer on the walls. Everything you need after a long trip: bathroom, shower, recliner, sofa, Flat screen TV, several brands of aviation oil, and drinks. They also had a courtesy car available. Open 24/7. I tried to take the FBO building home but it wouldn't fit in my plane.

Our experience was the same as other folks here: Super friendly people doing their best to keep us all flying! We got to use their courtesy car, they helped us push the plane to the pumps so we didn't have to start it twice, and the fuel is the most affordable around. We highly recommend KMA Aviation!

A couple of people installed the Self Serve gas pump. Cheapest full within 200 miles that I know of. Had a great visit with the guys. We will definitely keep stopping in for Gas and Go's.

The fuel pump is at the northeast end of the field. In speaking with a pilot based there this fuel farm is owned by the pilots based there for the use of all fellow pilots. These guys are a credit to keeping aviation alive.

We showed up on a Sunday afternoon and even though it was a weekend, and at a self-serve pump by itself on the ramp, 4 folks showed up and helped us pump gas, push airplanes, and got us into the facilities. Don't miss out on a great fuel deal ($3.30/gal) as well as some good folks--thanks fellas!
