A very convenient airport for the West St.Louis area. On weekends, this place is a beehive. If you arrive from the east, STL approach will dump you off right in the midst of a busy traffic pattern, so be ready! Read up on the traffic pattern and look outside!

I visited Creve Coeur airfield in early June 2006 and was made most welcome by Al Stix, the director of the based Historic Aircraft Restoration Museum. This exceptional collection of around 60 veteran and vintage light aircraft includes several examples of unique types including the St Louis Cardinal. A visit to HARM is a 'must'. It is open each weekend, and midweek with prior notice on 314-434-3368.

Flew in yesterday in our King Air. Very friendly staff at the FBO, and friendly Hangar Flyers as well. Very nice Museum on the field: Highly recommended to visit if you are in the area. Our hope is for better weather during our next visit so we can see what lies in all of the T-hangars (only another 30-40 vintage aircraft on TOP of the 30-40 aircraft at the museum!!!) Keep up the great work, and see you next time!

My family and I stopped and stayed at Creve Couer over January 21-23. Upon arrival in the misty, chilly weather, Will greeted us and pumped our gas. He later took down my information and was willing to plug in our pre-heater before our departure on Monday with simply a phone call on my part. Come Monday morning, Bob called me to ask if we did indeed want our pre-heater plugged in. We did, and he graciously pulled our plane around and had it plugged in and waiting when we arrived. Apparently, Will had left him a note with our situation and Bob decided to go the extra step and call us. Great visit. Great fuel prices. Perfect location for us. Only wish the office area was open a little later - closes 1/2 hour after sunset.
