Friendly service, cheap fuel. They're in the process of improving the facilities, and although they still have some distance to go with the improvements, they're definitely getting there. They also put my airplane in a T-hangar for free when the storms started coming around. Really great folks.

Stopped in for fuel for a flight from KPFN-1A0. Awesome place to stop. Very friendly, cheap gas, and had everything I needed to get to Chattanooga. Will always stop here on my trips to PFN!

1/10/2007. Overnight at 1J0. Outstanding folks here. Active EAA'ers. Construction ongoing for new ramp & hangars. Volunteered hangar space for my light-sport aircraft. Would like to be based here.

When I stopped here on a Saturday there was no staff around, the FBO Office had a sign on it that it was open, but was locked...There were three workers replacing a roof on one building and we had to use there Port-O-Let for a Restroom.... The self-serve fuel was available, The Mogas pump didn't work (I think It was out of Fuel, kinda just gurgled some, and spit out a gallon or so before I got fearful of the Quality)...The airport shows potential, but we will wait awhile before returning for another try...

They now have a courtesy van for trips to Bonifay or Chipley!

What fantastic people! A starter was bad on a used airplane I just purchased. Gary Cushman and Don Nelson worked all day Saturday (normally they are off) to find a new starter and install it. Don Nelson drove me to and from hotels for two days as well. They showed up Sunday mornng to finish things up and see me on my way. They could have socked it to me (a stranded stranger), but instead treated me with the utmost fairness and kindness. You cannot go wrong doing business with these people.
