SVA took superb care of my aircraft and I. After suffering a wheel brake failure on rollout and subsequent departure from the runway surface, they went far beyond the call to help me expedite repairs. The bunkhouse there is excellent (and inexpensive), and they provided me with a car for the three days I was down. If you are flying through the Siskiyou Range, this is the place you want to stop for fuel and quality service.

I'm here right now. It's a great place to spend the night. Right at the airport and quick getaway in the am. I haven't met Dave or Christine yet but they seem very nice on the phone. You can't beat the price or convenience.

I originally took my private lessons at Montague, great instructor there named Vern. The proprietors, Dave & Christine, are simply the best - knowledgeable, friendly, cheery, and great fun with sense of humor too. I've stayed a few nights in their "Montague Hilton" bunk room, can't beat the peace and quiet of a closed country airport at night plus they have a VCR set up for boredom hours too. If you're flying the I5 corridor, there is no better place to stop to reconnect with good folks, share a yarn and fill up with gas.
