Arrived on a weekend around lunchtime planning to use the self-serve pump. It wasn't working properly, but the young lady at the counter was quick to offer that she would take care of fueling off the truck at the SS price. Along with that, we took the Lincoln crew car into town for a delicious home-cooked meal at Sweet's. Bay Minette is a great cross-country stop!

Bay Minette Aviation is a gem of an FBO on the I-10 corridor. GPS approaches to both runways. New taxiway, which makes getting around the airport much easier/safer. Excellent service and the least expensive fuel for 150nm. A MUST visit FBO!

Great airport in southern Alabama. The FBO had some food in the lobby which my family enjoyed while I stretch the legs. Food is out there to lure in the military trainees in the area so you might find some military hardware on the ramp during the week. Gas was well priced but the credit card reader at the pump is INOP because it was apparently taken out by lightning. Will be back anytime I head out to the east coast.

I love this FBO. When we fly from Houston to Tampa or Jacksonville we stop here for fuel and a potty break. Now here is a secret.... Land here Thursdays for lunch. They have a great BBQ spread and all they ask for is a small donation. And the boiled peanuts are fantastic. Oh yea... The line ladies are cute and help a bunch. Try it..... Can't go wrong.

Great stop. Besides the fact that gas is always priced very competitively, I received a response on the radio immediately upon checking in to see what I needed. Nice facilities and all you need in the event that you have to wait out some weather.

Whenever I am in the Mobile area to visit family on the Eastern Shore, I consistently choose Bay Minette Aviation. The service has always been excellent and the prices for Jet-A are the lowest around. With Brookley's FBO being taken over by Signature, there is even more reason to go Bay Minette. Keep up the grreat work Ladies.

Flew in on 12/22/01 in our Piper Lance on our way back to Oklahoma from Disney World. Had to shoot the GPS approach due to bad weather. We landed and taxied up to the self service pump and got some of the cheap gas that I had read about on here. We went inside the FBO building (which was very nice and clean) and waited about 15 minutes for a squall line to pass over. Then we got back in the airplane and departed. I was very pleased with the facilities and if the need ever arises I will definitely stop here again.

Cheapest fuel around and clean, modern, friendly FBO. The nice young lady working even stayed beyond closing time for us so we could go get dinner (The Shrimp Basket is very good!). Be aware of some wind shear on the approach end of Runway 08 as you come over the trees. But, we'll definitely be back!

This has become my new airport to refuel in the south. Good fuel price, nice modern comfortable FBO, and an all female staff.

Stopped for fuel before the FBO opened and was surprised to find the owner already there doing a FOD check on the ramp. Bought fuel and was offered a warm bowl of banana pudding and choice of water or soda, made the trip back to Indiana more pleasant. Bring a biscuit for the new airport pup " Denver" or he will chew your shoestrings.

Bay Minette babes run an excellent operation. Cookies are fresh and the lemonade is a nice touch. Local accommodations in Bay Minette are not the worlds greatest but meet acceptable standards. We like the quick turns. Watch for the Navy trainers.

Great atmosphere, everyone should come visit the Ladies of Bay Minette Aviation. Get some fuel and lunch too. There is even a maintenance shop on the airport.

Quick, professional fuel service with a smile and a very nice FBO with all the amenities. The hotels in the area are not great, drive the extra 10 minutes to Daphne if staying overnight.

Stopped in on 11/12, it was a tie between the beautiful ladies and the gas price but the ladies pulled it out in the end when they told us that the price for full serve was going to be the same as the self serve since the pump was being worked on. Ate a delicious lunch at Theresa’s 10/10 and would encourage people to stop in at both places.

My wife and I flew in to Bay Minette from Pensacola on 25-Aug-10 to grab some dinner out in town. Crew car was available that evening, a Lincoln Towne Car. Someone mentioned they had Miatas, but was told they sold it awhile ago. For a small airport, the facility is top-notch, very relaxing, super-clean, and a friendly atmosphere.
