Arrived with my student around 11 pm on Sunday (day before Memorial Day) en route from JYO (Leesburg Exec) to I67 (Cincinnati West). Self-service pump wouldn't turn on, so had to go to UNI for gas. I wanted to give my business to this little rural airport, like the one close to where I grew up, but I suppose they weren't expecting late night visitors and had the pump shut off from another location. I was slightly amused to see no credit card machine and instead a cash box with a hole cut in the top. It's refreshing to know there are still people who believe in simple honesty. I'll definitely return on my next trip from JYO to Cincinnati. Perhaps if I arrive at a civilized hour next time the pumps will be working.

For over 30 years, on the 3rd Sunday of September, they have the finest air show / chicken barbeque dinner in the country. Friendly folks who care about general aviation.
