Oct 14, 2012, flight from NWest WI to MD, Stopped for the $5.00/gal least expensive fuel on that route. Even though it is self service, the attendant was there helping. Great facilities. Thanks.

Nice little airport in a small valley. Great fuel prices, the self serve was easy to use. Access to the buildings restroom via the Unicom freq code.

Always a great stop for splash and go. Facilities are nice and the fuel is easy to get to. Would (and have) stop again.

We landed right at 5pm on a Monday afternoon and the FBO was abandoned. Fortunately the SS Fuel worked and there was access to restrooms. If you just need fuel and no access to wx or a car, come after 5pm. Otherwise, plan accordingly.

I would recommend Somerset County Airport if you want a gas stop with good service and a good gas price. I got full service from a friendly and helpful attendant at the self serve pump. I was in and out in 30 minutes.

Very nice field with modern facilities. Has a flight plan/filing area and the combo to the door was the standard for a country field. Fuel (100LL) was 3.50 and the manager came to help even though he was on the other side mowing the grass.
