Catlin is a seasoned pilot in the North Cascades. I'm a pilot, and didn't know Catlin, but needed a ride to Seattle on a hard IFR day through the Cascades. He knows the system well, and knows the mountains really well. He flies a Cherokee 6 that's in excellent shape. I'd recommend my friends and family to fly with Monte - which I wouldn't do with a more than a few pilots.
