Flew into Wray for the first time this past Saturday (May 26) and was a little worried by Brian's comments (below). I found Jim (the all-around FBO/line guy/mechanic/etc.) to be very pleasant to chat with and customer oriented. Look, it's a one-man show so he can't be everywhere at once. I'll definitely stop in here again!

Flew to Wray for a business meeting. Found the only person there (Mechanic) was not customer oriented and this was my second really bad experience at the airport. I would have the wings taken off of my airplane and hauled to another shop on a truck before I would let them put a spark plug in my engine!

Stopped for fuel and lunch. They fueled my airplane for me, even though the pump was self-service. Both their courtesy cars were gone, but a personal car was graciously provided. The cafe they recommended was closed because of the county fair taking place in Yuma, but I found a nice cafe on the west outskirts of town - the Riverside - that had a good 75 cent cup of coffee and a hot hamburger plate. A good place to stop.

Stopped in here this morning. Small airport staffed by nice, helpful people. Offered us the courtesy car to go into town, even baby-sat the dog while we did. Make it a point to stop in here! Nice people like this are in short supply.

Stopped for fuel at lunch time. Called for fuel service and they offered a courtesy car if I wanted to go to into town for lunch. Jim cut his lunch short and was there in 10 minutes. Great service and nice clean modest facility.
