Flew in for gas & new card reader was out of order--again. This has happened to me 3 times now--may not return.

Landed in Hallettsville 5/4/11 for fuel. I had called the City prior to make sure the new card reader was working and it was. $4.099/Gallon can’t be beat!!! The only issue right now (and they are trying to fix) is if you use MasterCard or Visa you can only get 18 gallons at a time. I had to scan my card 4 times! It was worth it though. They say if you use Amex or Discover it will not limit your total.

As of 2/16/2011, the city is waiting on a new card reader for the pump.... So best not stop for fuel with out calling and checking first. The lady with the city told me in an emergency they would send someone out to over ride the cardreader and run the pump. Best not stop, unless you know its running again. Traditionally they have cheap 100LL.
