Had a nice visit to the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. The service was prompt and friendly. The burgers were very good as well. Nice time!

The grass strip is great. I flew a Mooney in the morning after a little rain; the strip drains well and was fine. The restaurant was rebuilt about a year ago. The food is good, the service was fantastic. From my experience, dinner has a better menu than breakfast and lunch. Really a great fly in location. A while back, my wife and I spent 3 nights in a cabin overlooking the airstrip. The maintenance guys brought us extra firewood, the service was great. I prefer the approach to the West, you come in over the lake and land on an uphill gradient. I then takeoff to the East, back out over the lake. The runway is East/West; prevailing wind seems to be N/S.

Cedar Mills Airport is a great destination. The grass runway is awesome! However, don't waste your time with Pelican's Landing restaurant for dinner. The food took an hour and 20 minutes to be served. It was lower quality than fast food. The manager took half off the bill, but her attitude was terrible for a service provider.
