Stopped by on our return from Key West to the North. Excellent fuel stop, clean facility and reasonable fuel prices. Staffed by volunteers who are helpful and very friendly. A+++ There is a car available at no charge to go into town for a meal.

This FBO reminded me of stops with my dad crossing Kansas back in the late 70s. Cheap fuel, nice manager, a waiting area littered with aviation memorabilia and magazines, and a wonderful old cop car turned crew car available on the re-fuel honor system. We didn't ask, since it was January 2, but there were slices of cake greeting visitors at the door, which I think were for the taking. This is a great stop.

Over nighted on the way to and from the Bahamas. Very nice little airport with decent fuel prices and a clean Hampton Inn nearby. The manager made sure I had the crew car both ways and great 411 on food etc in town. I like little one stoplight towns and this one nicely fits the bill. Try it for your next stop to make your Florida "turn".

May 22nd stopped for fuel enroute to Tallahassee, Battery would not turn engine, local gave me jump from his truck, rounded up an A&P to fetch me a battery, let me tie down for the week, Great Hospitality all around nice Folks. Only Downside is that it is a lonely place with no rental cars for 50 miles.

I unexpectedly stopped at Perry-Foley due to a weather delay and was very pleased with my experience. Very friendly and helpful FBO staff along with great fuel prices. Stopped on the way back just to visit again and fill up. I will be back when flying through that part of Florida.

Stopped in for fuel on my way back home. Found out I had a battery going bad and couldn't get it started. Jimmy and Billy helped me out with a quick battery charge and I was on my way. They were so helpful and gracious. Thank you so much guys! I will definitely be back.

For the good folks at Perry-Foley, First of all, thank you for your hospitality. Second, on my way to Wetumpka, Alabama and delivering a 1946 Aeronca Champ #83746, I had the occasion to stop at Perry, primarily for fuel. As the wind God's dictated, this stop turned into an over-night, (meaning I was tired of getting beat up at low altitudes). I wanted to personally thank the FBO manager at Perry for making my stay a pleasant experience and for going above and beyond in making sure I was taken care of. Thanks again!

I stop here once or twice a month. The people are friendly, facilities are excellent and fuel prices reasonable. What a great place for a small town!

Perry makes a great fuel & overnight stop because of friendly, helpful folks. Hampton Inn is super for overnight. Restaurant nearby. The folks at the airport make you feel right at home. Self-service fuel is easy & cheap. This beats a stopover at the big airport NW of here!

After 26 years of flying in Florida, I finally dropped in to Perry-Foley. Good fuel price and excellent facility/service. We were just passing through but the weather for the next leg did not look promising for getting home in daylight, so we made use of the courtesy car and the well-run Hampton Inn. I'd stop here anytime, though if it were IMC I'd have to pass (no non-GPS approaches).

Airport staff was very friendly and helpful. They had free bananas and apples. The fuel was very nicely priced. A very nice airport.

We stopped here for a bathroom break & fuel enroute to and from Titusville to see STS 131 launch. Great friendly guys at the FBO. The self-serve pump worked easily both times. Recommend a visit if passing thru the area.

I arrived after dark on Jan 31, 2010. The airport lights are great. The Hampton sent their shuttle to get me. I parked on the ramp for a week with no fee. Good fuel prices, too. I rented a car for the week from the local Ford dealership. This is a great little community airport.

Stopped at Perry on 1/28/2010 and again on 1/29/2010. Good fuel prices and excellent service and "company" from the folks at the FBO! Will definitely stop again if in the area.

Stopped 9 December to wait out a storm moving through. The gents at the office couldn't have been more helpful or hospitable. We even got to use the new courtesy car for lunch at the very good Goodman's BBQ. A great stop!

Nice little airport. Self-serve pump worked perfectly and was easy to find on the ramp. The guy at the terminal was friendly and helpful and the bathrooms were clean. Great fuel stop.

Used 40J as a swap point for an Angel Flight. Nice stop area. All people were friendly and helpful. Fuel is self-serve and easy to use. Great General Aviation Airport.

Stopped in here twice - to & from Sun N Fun 09. Friendly folks, great fuel prices, free hot dogs, burgers and coca-colas. In and out was fast and easy and the whole facility was very clean. Great folks to chat with as well - - in the rockers at the FBO :-)

Stopped here on the way to and from the Cayman Islands in April 09. SS Fuel was good price. Stopped here for the night short of weather to the north on way home. The Hampton Inn was the best. They made 2 trips (5 mins) to pick us up. 4 couples. Only 2 were military but gave all of us the mil rate. The motel just finished remodeling and gave us brand new rooms. First class accommodations. BBQ restaurant next door was great. They returned was to the airport in the morning. Can't say enough about the service. The airport has rocking chairs and "good ol' boys" to chat with while watching the activities.

Stopped in for fuel returning from Sun'N'Fun. Free hot dogs, hamburgers, and soft drinks were provided. Very friendly place.

From David Savage on 20-Mar-2009

Stopped here twice for cheap fuel and easy in and out. This is a great airport with 3 runways. We stayed at Hampton who came and got us one night and had dinner at Mama's Italian near the Hampton. Only trick is getting out of the gate if no attendant is there. The instructions are written on the doors but the short form is using the Unicom frequency digits as the combination on the padlock on the gate next to the FBO building.
