The remarks on AirNav say the runway markings are in poor shape, which is incorrect. The runway has been repainted twice in the last 3 years and the markings are all in excellent condition. Look at the photo on the AirNav page and you can see for yourself!

We flew into Alpine from Jackson Hole on the way back to Florida to fuel up on August 16th. What a beautiful fly-in community! Bill and Marion helped us fuel up at the very fair price of 3.99/gal. We then took a few minutes to tour the airpark. Be careful. Stopping here for cheap fuel could bring out the need for a lifestyle change in you!

The fuel price was a listed $3.99 with a simple to use self-service pump. I liked not having to guess how many gallons it would take for a complete fill up and at this price everyone would want to have a complete fill up. Fill it up and then pay. Tied down for the night and there are now a good supply of ropes. This is a beautiful place to fly in to. As of this posting, the lake seen in the airstrip photo is just off the end of runway 31.
