Stopped for lunch today. One of the best airport restaurants I've frequented. Breaded pork tenderloin sandwich was fantastic, and chocolate chip cheesecake was out of this world!

I rent a DA-20 and DA-40 here regularly. This is a great bunch of folks; they work hard to take care of your aviation needs. They have a nice restaurant and hotel. I last flew their DA40 on June 9-11; well maintained and ready to fly when I got to the airport.

Stopped in on Sunday Nov. 2 for a fuel stop. The line guys quickly fueled the Caravan while I enjoyed a great lunch at the cafe inside the terminal. The cafe closes at 2p on Sundays. No extra fees. Will stop again when in the area.

Stopped in on 7/28 and 8/2 on the way to and from Oshkosh. Service was fantastic -- both times someone was out to the pumps to fuel my RV very quickly. Very friendly and prompt service and the cheapest fuel around.

On our way back from Oshkosh, we stopped at this fine airport to have lunch and get fuel. What a great stop - restaurant offers a wide variety of food, which was really good. Wait staff was very friendly along with the line staff that was very helpful. Fuel was $4.99 including tax, which is the prime reason for the visit, but would go back again to eat at the fine restaurant. They even have hotel suites on the 2nd floor of the modern FBO building.

Excellent operation, friendly staff. We stopped by 7/23/07 and again, on the return, 7/26/07. Fuel was lowest price in the area and as advertised on AirNav. We stayed the night at their hotel in the FBO. It was very comfortable with large rooms. A restaurant is in the FBO also but was closed the day we were there. However with the use of their courtesy car several restaurants were close by.

Diverted to this Gem by a passenger who had too much water before leaving Chicago was a blessing. The staff was awesome and the facilities light years ahead of others. The idea of a hotel in the building is something I want to see more of. Hope to come back soon and try that restaurant.
