I've been flying around the south for over 20 years and I've never been treated better than when I stopped at Booneville for fuel on my way to Oshkosh. They offered me a car, an overnight hangar, found me a motel, and joined me for dinner too. This level of hospitality deserves all the business we can give them.

Working our way back to Chicago from Mustang Island, Texas we stopped in for the night. Great service. Read the instructions on the self-serve pump before starting, as they are different from other systems. Nice to see a dust cover on the nozzle....

Landed for fuel and a place to stay the night. Ran into a pilot working on his plane. Dean got a hold of Bill Tucker, the airport manager, and between the two of them, I had a hangar for my plane, a courtesy car and recommendations on lodging and dining. Great folks at Booneville, beautiful countryside, and definitely on my list to return to.

I have flown into Booneville 5-6 times over the last several years and it is always a most pleasant experience. Bill Tucker and Ira Jones are always helpful, the facilities are immaculate, the price of gas is right, and taking the courtesy car to the top of Mt. Magazine for lunch is among the best couple of hours you can spend visiting a small airport anywhere. Great tee shirts and hats with the airpot logo, too. Thanks again Bill and Ira!

Thanks, Bill and Mike, for a great small town general aviation airport experience! Our family flew in the weekend of Nov 7th to visit Mt. Magazine. The awesome view from the beautiful, modern, recently renovated lodge & cabins is definitely worth the trip, especially during fall foliage season. Both Bill and Mike were very friendly and helpful during our trip and made sure the courtesy car was available as requested; and we really appreciated using the crew car overnight. Cheap self serve fuel, too! We will definitely be back. I wish all small airports were this nice!

Check out Mt. Magazine! Great airport with cheap fuel. Bill Tucker is one of the most helpful airport managers/A&P-IA I have met.

Friendly staff that will do about anything to help a customer. Low fuel prices! Clean courtesy car! Nearby Mt. Magazine State Park is an awesome family outing. We will be back.

My second visit to 4M2 was as good as my first two years ago. The courtesy car is still available for overnight trips to Mount Magazine. The tie down area is well maintained with good ropes. There is a convenient self-service fuel pump and a very sturdy movable stairs/platform for fueling high-wing aircraft. The airport web site provides a wealth of information. The Airport Manager, Bill Tucker, was very hospitable. I highly recommend this airport and the Mount Magazine State Park and Lodge.
