Check out Mt. Magazine! Great airport with cheap fuel. Bill Tucker is one of the most helpful airport managers/A&P-IA I have met.

From B Still on 30-Jul-2009
Friendly staff that will do about anything to help a customer. Low fuel prices! Clean courtesy car! Nearby Mt. Magazine State Park is an awesome family outing. We will be back.

My second visit to 4M2 was as good as my first two years ago. The courtesy car is still available for overnight trips to Mount Magazine. The tie down area is well maintained with good ropes. There is a convenient self-service fuel pump and a very sturdy movable stairs/platform for fueling high-wing aircraft. The airport web site provides a wealth of information. The Airport Manager, Bill Tucker, was very hospitable. I highly recommend this airport and the Mount Magazine State Park and Lodge.

Outstanding small Arkansas airport. They don't come any nicer or friendlier or more accommodating. Look forward to stopping again on our way back to Fort Worth.

Great stop. The pumps worked as advertised and was able to make a pit stop in the FBO after getting the LIR ATIS. Be sure to arrive way under gross so you can get all the copies of the infamous "Fly Low" newspaper that is available from the publisher on the field. This is a great airport.

Flew in for business. The car was clean, fuel well priced, they had chocks and tie-down ropes. WSI weather and an Internet connection. Mike was very helpful and through. Great airport!

The airport provided an excellent courtesy car for my overnight trip to Mount Magazine (a 30 mile trip one way), a great self-service fuel price, and a clean tie down spot with good ropes. I did not see any chocks to use in the tie down area, but always bring my own. The airport web site is very informative. I highly recommend this airport and the Mount Magazine State Park and Lodge.

This is a great fuel stop with one of the lowest fuel cost in the area. The only trick to the fuel pump is do not remove hose from pump until readout tells you too

From Cam Benton on 13-Nov-2006
Flight planned to land Booneville to refuel on a trip from Ohio to Texas. Once we landed and shut down, we found out that the pump was not operational. The card reader was out of service and nobody was anywhere in sight at 9:00AM. I phoned RKR and was encouraged to come fuel up there. Luckily I had just enough to make it. (See my comments on RKR - That is a great airport) I will forever avoid Booneville in the future and recommend others do the same.

Response from Mike Wyrick, Booneville Municipal Airport
We appreciate Mr. Benton's AirNav comment date 11-13-06 indicating our credit card fuel system was out of service. Since we are only staffed regularly on weekends, we rely on our customers to inform of us problems. It is, of course, easier to send us an email or leave a note inside, but any type of notification is helpful. A pilot with knowledge of sectional charts will know how to access the door code. For the record, a batch sales report indicates that fuel was purchased on 11-11-06 and 11-14-06. The pump also worked perfectly on 11-15-06 upon checking up on Mr. Benton's concern. Again, we appreciate all comments, positive or negative. All customer feedback helps us improve our service. We thank everyone who takes the time to tell us how we are doing. The Booneville Municipal Airport management
