This is a no-frills airport, good self-serve 100LL but not much else; bring your own oil and tie-downs. Two miles to town but transportation is a challenge, no rent-cars available. Click the Unicom three times for weather. Runway is in good shape, needs to be as Chevron flies in almost daily in a G150. Mind the density altitude and hills northeast of the field.

Airport in nice valley with manageable terrain all around. Self-serve 100LL equipment works well. Pumping speed is excellent. Complaint: I stopped on 9/27/09 because AirNav's price quote dated 9/21 was $3.75. Prominent sign on card reader and another on the tank said the price was $3.75, so I topped all tanks. When I got my receipt, however, I saw I'd been charged $4.385. I called a few days later and was told they'd made a mistake, having changed the price on 9/25 but forgotten to change the signs. The man was courteous, but had no relief to offer. False advertising? Yes. Worth getting mad about? I guess not.
