One of my favorite airports in all of Washington. I am very sad to hear that it is closing. The runway is well paved, but there is grass on the taxiway and it is not too wide. Nice vintage pilot's lounge, which is comfortable. Mini mart is a ten second walk away. Very friendly people. Don't forget to contact Abbotsford Tower on approach, as they control that airspace. I really hope this airport doesn't close.

It is a shame that such a nice Airport will close as a result of poor judgment based on inadequate information. Shame! Shame! Shame!

We lost another one: On 2/26/07, the city council voted to close this airport by the end of 2008. What a shame, as it was really convenient.

Fabulous airport! No crowds, friendly folks, inexpensive gas, great pilots lounge w/restrooms, sofas & flight planning. There is a mini-mart just outside the gate and Burger King is at the approach end of 14, town is a 30+ minute stroll. Thanks Blaine!

There is a push by locals to close this airport. Perhaps we should all buy some more gas here and perhaps write the city council about our use of the field and how we would like to see it remain open.
