These guys are great. Free use of a sweet Crown Vic courtesy car, great gas prices, clean lounge, refreshments, etc. All you can ask for and more at a small town airport! Will be back again and again.

Best fuel prices in the Atlanta area. Stopped mid-day last Thursday: no one around. Echo comments about using Rwy 14 if practical. Nothing fancy but with these prices well worth the stop.

Went here to buy gas 12/1/11. Best prices around ATL, ---BUT----There is one caveat. They didn't take American Express, which is all I had. If I had been low on gas, I would have been stranded here.

Chose Madison for the fuel price, had great service at the airport and, a very good lunch at the Chop House (fast, free, wi-fi) in Madison. Atlanta approach was very good on the way in and had our clearance ready as we were climbing out after lunch. This stop took much less time than one at a towered airport.

My wife and I stopped in on Easter Sunday for gas. Best price around by far and VERY friendly staff. We will be back soon. Thanks!!

Great fuel stop (pump worked fine) and lowest price for the day and area by $.50. The runway is a little short landing 32, which slopes downhill. If the wind is below 10 kts always land on 14, which slopes uphill 1.5% and takeoff on 32. Good Internet access, office area and nice helpful folks hangar flying on the porch.

Went into 52A on Apr 11, as it is a regular fuel stop for me. Purchased 18 gallons on the pump, but was charged for 21 gallons. Showed the pump and receipt to the manager, who initialed the receipt and said a check would be sent out that week for the difference ($12). April 22, 2010 Check reimbursing for incorrect charge on fuel, arrived today....

I recently visited this airport and used the wonderful courtesy car, which was clean and full of fuel, by the way. At that time I was notified by the FBO that the fuel pump was down for service and would not be operational until this Thursday, June 25th, 2009 at 5 pm.. So very kind of the FBO to let me know that, so I thought I would let everyone else know too. Very nice pilot lounge and good snacks.... Thanks also they have an airport dog that hangs around sometimes his name is Leroy...Nice little fellow..

Remove the spider webs and fix the fuel pump. I went out of my way to buy fuel there and the pump is broken. Nice lounge by the way.

A nice place to fly into - they completely remodeled their airport lounge along with adding a real brick front and adding a porch to match the quaint motif of their downtown businesses. The lounge is well equipped with a pilot's room, Internet, restrooms, wetbar/coffee area along with nice seating throughout the lounge...Like someone's living room! They even have a crewcar, so that you can go downtown and visit one of the local restaurants. Amici's is one of our favorite's...Outstanding pizza. The next-door antique store is amazing with alot of Civil war items - rifles, items of that period, etc. The City of Madison is called the MAYBERRY of Georgia. Enjoy a day or weekend, in this special town!!
