I'm not surprised at the number of favorable comments about Carl and his work. He just completed the installation of a GMX 200, GNS 430W and GDL 69 in my Mooney 205. This equipment replaced an MX 20, GPS 155 and KY 196A. In addition he repaired the vacuum system, which had been problematic for some time. The work was error free and completely professional. I would recommend Monarch and Carl for any type of avionics work.

Carl is very professional and did a wonderful job on my 150, installed an audio panel, kx155 and a ki 209 glide slope, rearranged the headset jacks. Well satisfied with the work and the cost. After I got the plane home I even noticed a couple of little things he fixed that was not mentioned in time or money. Great job, Thanks Carl

Carl is the person I take my aircraft avionics business to. Not able to make it to his shop during the week? Not an issue, Carl will arrange to meet you on Saturday. Outstanding work! Will help you understand the process and what you can do, before you bring your aircraft to him, to help lessen your bill. Carl Everett of Monarch Aviation is the person you want doing your avionics work. He just installed a GNS430 in my Cherokee on a Saturday.

I have been bringing my Grumman over to Carl ever since I have owned it, and am 110% happy and trusting in the high quality of work, and valuable advice, that he provides. The avionics in my plane were definitely showing their age when I purchased it, and Carl has been helping me bring the whole package up to date. It is an understatement to say I am really pleased with the transformation to date.

If you are looking for an avionics man with superior skills, integrity, knowledge, perseverance, patience, and a passion that is reflected in his quest for serving his customers; Carl Everett of Monarch Aviation should be your first choice. He has reconfigured the entire instrument panel in our vintage C 150, added a GX 55 GPS, installed a new panel based intercom, rearranged several switches, installed an updated DG, installed a new antenna, and even reworked our headsets. It is attractive and is much more functional from the pilot's point of view. All of this was interlaced with comments and suggestions from Carl that maintained function at the least cost for us. Carl is easy and fun to work with when difficult decisions are causing you concern relative to the avionics in your airplane. You will be pleased with the outcome and he will not give up until you are satisfied and smiling.

I had a transponder encoder problem. Two popular parts suppliers told me I would have to wait six weeks for the part. I called Carl of Monarch Aviation and he vectored me to another supplier, which provided the encoder in days. Carl checked my system and installed the encoder in minimum time on a day, which he planned to drive five hours to Atlanta. Carl gives great service and advice on avionics. If you fly through northwest Florida, stop in and chat with him. You will be glad you did.

Carl (Monarch Aviation) has been my 'go-to' avionics guy for many years. Most recently, he removed my useless Loran equipment and replaced it with Garmin unit and antenna - in record time and at most reasonable cost!! He knows his craft! Experienced and efficient! Just as important is his friendly personality and eagerness to assist and please the customer. If you have a problem, he'll find a solution. Carl has my highest recommendation.

Carl has been doing my avionics repair/upgrades for the last two years. Although he hates working in the confines of my M20K's panel, he's always ready and willing to take on another challenge. He's straightforward with his quotes, and he's never surprised me with added or unexpected charges. Most importantly; I have the utmost confidence in his work knowing that if he's put his name to it, it won't fail. I highly recommend Monarch Avionics.

Carl at Monarch Aviation troubleshot an electrical problem on my Grumman AA1B. He cleaned the brushes and contacts on my alternator and fixed the problem. This repair prevented me from having to replace the alternator. He saved dollars, and time and that is always welcome. I highly recommend him for any avionic/electrical work that needs to be done on your aircraft.

I am the Sheriff of Escambia County Alabama and needed an aircraft but lacked the budget so I talked with Monarch Aviation and Carl has helped me take an abused 172 and begin to build a respectable avionics panel on a shoestring budget. He has been helpful with his guidance and very reasonable with his prices. He gave me a spare ADF to use in my plane at no cost and has answered a thousand questions asked by a confused and uninformed customer. So far we have installed a Garmin 340 audio panel, a vertical compass card, a used King 155 with glide slope ind, new headset plugs, new DG, new airspeed indicator, new attitude indicator and a dozen other freebees. His work is simply impeccable.

I have used Monarch Aviation for all of the avionics service on my 60 year old Navion since 2002 including routine checks; a major redesign of the pilot's instrument panel; installation of a Garmin 430 GPS, Garmin 150, Garmin 106A indicator and Garmin340 audio panel; rework of the autopilot to track all navigation modes; and a complete rework of the electrical system with redesigned/labeled circuit breaker panels. Carl's work is always professional, timely, reasonably priced and backed up with his personal guarantee. I recommend Monarch Aviation without reservation.

My experience with Carl and Monarch Aviation was positive, definitely a good choice. I needed instrument capability for my Bonanza A35 but deciding what to do and what not to do was a challenge. With Carl's guidance, we decided on a Garmin stack, including a 430W, audio panel, transponder plus a Castleberry Electric Artificial Horizon, using existing radios for Nav/Com 2. The best part was the small items and attention to detail, such as adding in an avionics "master" and circuit breaker panel, installing lighting (Nu-lites and a lighting strip) and other little extras that added to the finished product. The pricing was fair and there were no surprises.

Carl of Monarch Aviation does good work, does it with minimum delay, and prices are very reasonable. Has been doing my 24-month pitot-static checks, just installed my Aspen panel and GNS-430. Had an internal glitch on the Aspen - had it replaced two hours after getting the plane to him. I recommend this avionics shop.

Outstanding friendly/open service and installation. Carl installed an Aspen Evolution PFD and Garmin 430W into my Arrow and removed some older avionics. Everything worked and checked out first time. Came up with some great solutions to what I requested. Carl came highly recommended from some folks at Eglin AFB Aero Club and he delivered. Very reasonably priced when compared to other shops.

A little over a year ago, I picked up a 1973 Piper Cherokee/Challenger. Although a great little low time plane ... The avionics were original, tired, and out of date. Carl has worked with me over the past year to completely renovate the panel and on each occasion, everything worked flawlessly with zero defects. As a Director of Quality for a major Aerospace company, I'm somewhat demanding and Carl has exceeded my expectations each time. To date, he has installed a Garmin GMA 340 Audio Panel, IFR Certified Garmin GNC 300 XL GPS, Garmin GI 106A Indicator with MD41-454 Annunciator Panel, Garmin SL 30 Comm/Nav, EI Super Clock, EI Fuel Flow Computer, 406 MHZ ELT, Wing Tip Strobe System, Vertical Card Compass, and new comm antennas.

I took my Cessna 172 to Carl at Monarch Aviation for an upgrade on my avionics package. Carl offered me very valuable advice prior to the installation of the avionics to achieve what I wanted in the most economical manner. Carl installed a new Audio Panel and reconfigured my avionics, everything was completed in good working order, and it was a very neat and professional job. In my opinion, Carl went well out of his way to make sure that I was getting the most out of my dollar. I highly recommend Monarch Avaiation. Thanks, Carl.

I fly for a living and when my airplane has avionics issues I need them fixed ASAP. When I call Monarch they provide me with prompt, quality service at a fair price. I have used Monarch for years and recently had them do a total avionics upgrade in one of my Cessna 172s. I could not be more pleased with the results. I recommend Monarch Aviation over all of the other avionics shops because you will not find a more professional organization or a better price.
