Best BBQ in NC. Closest to Memphis style anywhere I've been in NC. Always a treat.

Great food! Nice grass on right side (NE side) of RWY 31. If you want fuel, bring cash or check, and be sure to call ahead to ensure availability. Pump is on SE end, by compass rose. Trees all around cause some windshear with N winds--good short field practice. Chocolate pie is your reward!

If you haven't been to 5NC3 in awhile, or ever, it's a must stop. I fly there at least once a month, if not more. Roland has done a tremendous job making it an experience. With the unveiling of the McConnell Memorial, this is what airfields used to be, and don't forget the Pik-N-Pig. Awesome!!!

A fun and Friendly place to go. We went out of our way to go there based on other's comments and it was well worth the diversion. This is one of those small airports we hope lasts forever. Good gas prices and very friendly service. And ------ The barbecue is FABULOUS!

Landed there today for BBQ. Tricky little place to find, but worth it. Fayetteville Approach were happy to provide vectors. Nice runway. Watch out for those trees @ the end. It gets bumpy. It's private, but not need to call just land!!!!
