Fuel update as of Jun 2007, however their website says "no FBO services available at this time". Is 66Y just a strip with a functioning self-serve pump? Thanks, Bruce

The Diamondhead Airport is well on its way back from Katrina's damage. The airport is open, has self-serve fuel, and ramp space. Many airport residents (including my husband and I) have re-built or are in the rebuilding process. Want to help us in our recovery efforts? Please stop in to visit, buy fuel, and let us see those beautiful airplanes grace the skies over Diamondhead again.

Flew down there to bring some relief missionaries. This place was wiped out! The devastation invokes awe. No runway lights or fuel. I found one tie down and took it. From the skeletal remains it looked like a posh and ideally designed airport had been there... Really sad.
