Great FBO and friendly folks. Worth a visit. You'll love the scenery but the winds over the hills can make approaches "interesting". Courtesy car available to go into town. Again, very nice people.

As a corporate pilot, I have been to a plethora of airports in the United States, both big and small, and the experience that we had at Johnson County Airport with Cindy and Bob, was absolutely great. The way they run the airport is very professional, helpful, and most of all friendly. They have created a very homey atmosphere where in the future, even if I didn't plan to go there, I would stop just to say hi and have a coffee with them. Even as a small airport, they had everything required, including expeditious services like fuel, ice and coffee, crew car, and help with local arrangements, weather for business or fun. I would definitely make my future flying trips with a stop at Johnson County, weather for business or pleasure. Bob's humor, and meeting the local guys, was an added bonus.

Flew in a couple of weeks ago on business. Cindy and Bob were absolutely the most helpful, friendliest operators I have run across. The radio response was better than some controlled fields I visited. They were great with ground transportation, fueling and even provided local insight into the business matter I was there for. And the local coffee is to die for. I'll be back for sure.

Southern hospitality at its finest! Bob and Cindy are the greatest and I am now beginning to not be surprised when they come outside to wave goodbye after I'm airborne.... Every time! Always a fuel stop for me or a great weekend get away in the East Tennessee Mountains. You will not be disappointed with Doe Mtn Aviation!

This has got to be the friendliest FBO I've ever been to, I initially had reservations about going into Mountain City, Tn. not knowing what to expect but am glad I did. Bob Johnson at Doe Mountain went above and beyond standard customer service making our visit absolutely enjoyable. We also had a bleed air issue with our Premier Jet that Bob had a mechanic on the field who was able to resolve the issue easily......GREAT EXPERIENCE!! Thanks Bob

I've had the pleasure of flying in and out of this airport for over 15 years and have enjoyed every time. Very capable airport, I used it with everything from jets to piston singles. Bob and Cindy are the absolute best FBO owners you could ever meet. They run an excellent business, have always gone out of their way to look after me and my airplanes, and have some incredible coffee! If you fly anywhere within 500 miles of this place it is worth stopping by! The whole area is beautiful and excellent service.

It really doesn't get any better than this! Bob, Cindy, and Larry are the finest people you ever want to meet and bring a mixture of warmth (with that small town attitude) and class (attention to every detail) to this beautiful airport. Landing at 6A4 is a real treat. A picturesque spot flanked on the north side by a cornfield, the runway is well maintained. Watch out for local wildlife (the four legged variety) at the approach end of Rwy 24. Expect the finest coffee in the high country and hospitality you won't want to leave behind (like the fuel in the truck). I've been calling 6A4 my summer home since 2007 and leaving always makes me sad. There's plenty to do in the high country. Give Bob, Cindy and Larry a call and see what they suggest.

One of the most pleasant experiences I've ever had at an FBO. The kind folks that run it were so helpful. We landed there to wait out a line of thunderstorms and they loaned us the courtesy car, called and made a reservation for us at a fantastic restaurant in town, and towed the plane to the pumps for us. I can't say enough good things about them. If you are in the area or are looking for a great, scenic fuel stop, then I highly recommend them.
