I picked up an airplane at Creswell for a cross-country ferry to Chicago. I was running late and there was a storm cell approaching so I was trying to move quickly and get into the air. Dorothy Schick- the owner and CFI at TakeWing was super helpful in helping with charts and suggesting a route across the Cascades. She also returned my one way rental car for me and sent me on my way with a handful of snacks and drinks. I cannot remember a kinder person than Dorothy! She clearly "pays it forward" every day. Thank you!!!

We flew into Creswell to attend a wedding. It is not possible to rent a car and return it on a Sunday as the car rental agencies are closed. We called in advance and Shelly, the airport manager let us use her car for the entire weekend. Since we ended up getting weathered in on Sunday, she said it was ok to take the car two hours to McMinnville to see the Spruce Goose. Very gracious people and a wonderful experience.
