Runway in excellent shape. Looks like a neat place to live. We called ahead, spoke to Dana, and she arranged a car for us to use so we could see local attractions (Cypress Valley Canopy Tours, and Opies BBQ). She was very friendly & helpful.

I don't find this to be a friendly airport. I'm sure the people are nice, but it's not regularly attended. It's really more of a gated community with an airport. Keep that in mind if you ever need someone to meet you there by car -- they won't be able to get in unless I suppose you can call ahead and get a gate code. OK if you just want to land, get fuel and leave.

As stated, narrow RWY but nice and long. Great new blacktop with excellent markings. Everyone is friendly and fuel is self-serve and cheap. No lights or night OPS so arrive within 30 minutes of sunset. Less than 2 miles from one of the best BBQ joints in Texas...Opies on Hwy 71.

A friendly little airport with good fuel prices. The runway is *narrow* so watch your approach carefully. Not much in the way of services unless you can get help from one of the resident locals.
