Great little airport. Really hope the upgrades are completed (if they are still doing them?). Fuel prices aren’t bad, nor are the hangar fee. I would give 5 stars, because the service is 100% for this size of airport, but the upgrades really need to be finished before I can give 5 stars. I would highly suggest flying in here!

Easy access to Kingwood and North Houston. Don't be fooled by the close proximity to KIAH. This is a great little non-towered airport. Very relaxed feel; like a small town airport from 40 years ago! Manager Katie Jarrett is friendly, helpful, honest, and down-to-earth. Open hangars available for tie down are well protected on three sides by other hangars and trees. You'll need to bring your tie downs.

Stopped in for a RON over the weekend. Been to Williams many times in years past (although haven't seen it in 5 yrs or so). GREAT to see that they are developing the airport even more! Trees are cut back (still got 'em on the approach to Rwy 17!) and they are working on extending the runway. Airport is coming along. Nice jewel for access in NE Houston area. Got a squirt of gas from the new 24/7 CC reader. Not the best price for gas in the area but at the lower end and competitive. Need to pay for the upgrades somehow! Keep it up; will be back again!

I flew in from Seattle area to this airport. Seems they are working on improving the site. Parking was free, staff was nice, gas was reasonable. Everything was clean and my plane was safe for the night. Watch coming in on 17 there are some tall trees and you really need to drop down quick. Also, there are a lot of high towers around this area. The airport does not have an approach system at all. We were also offered covered parking but the weather was nice so I decided to leave my plane out.

Landed 9X1 on 2 July. Nice runway and a security guard was there. Offered shade hangar for night and gave me airport manager's name and number due to alternator problem. Airport Manager "Katie" met me there early next morning and recommended CXO for alternator problem. Nice lady keeping busy with improvements. Good stop.
