Donna (Cessna 180), John (Husky) and myself (Super Cup) landed at Denio Thursday June 19th, 2008. They had just finished grading both runways. They were in excellent shape, however a little dusty from the grading. That will blow away. We got auto gas there, had breakfast and enjoyed the company of Bobby and Maria Putney. Great Hosts, Great Food. Hotel looked nice, however, we didn't stay. I would highly recommend this place.

Field is full of holes; we spent about an hour after we landed filling a bunch in. It was no problem for the bushwheels but smaller tires would have had problems. Tie down area was full of junk pieces of wood. Picked up several nails. Not the great shape the person at the motel described.

Denio Junction has reopened under new ownership. All three runways are in good shape. Motel rooms, bar and car gas available now and the restaurant should open soon.
