My wife and I eat here regularly, mostly for lunch, and have never had anything less than excellent service and great food at a good price. There's a good variety on the menu, friendly staff, and comfortable seating in a nice environment. The aviation theme is a bonus (as is the museum next door and grass strip a few yards away). This is a great place to bring aviation enthusiast friends, or to fly in and just hang out for a leisurely meal. We have a lot of restaurant choices in the SW Atlanta area, ranging from fast food to nicer chains, plus many independents, and I'd rate Barnstormer's Grill among the top 10% amongst all of them. It may be a little bit out of the way (in a beautiful rural location) but it's worth the trip. Just wish there were more low-key events at the airport for antique/classic airplanes/owners, like breakfasts, cookouts and informal fly-ins - it's the perfect venue.

A fun restaurant that is located directly on the field. My wife and I flew in for Saturday night dinner and had an enjoyable meal out on the patio area. Great views of the runway along with a variety of aircraft - Stearman, Waco and a Cessna that appeared to be in training. Dinner options vary from Prime Rib, Filet Mignon, Wild Salmon and Snapper, Shrimp, along with a really nice salad bar and amazing desserts. In addition to the restaurant that has a distinctive aviation theme...There is also an aviation museum adjacent to the restaurant. Fly in and have breakfast, lunch or dinner along with a great Sunday buffet.
