We flew from Denver to KGTF this summer. The staff at Holman was friendly and facilities top notch. We then left for KGPI. 50 miles from KGTF, we blew a cylinder and performed an emergency off field landing. The plane was unscathed, but now we had the task of getting the plane off the road and to a qualified mechanic. We called Holman. The chief mechanic, Charles Cottrell, and line manager, Jeremy Hill came out and secured the plane. Charles did a field replacement for the blown cylinder enough to fly it back to the shop for further inspection. Unfortunately, the engine needed an overhaul. We opted for a factory re-built engine. Charles did an incredible job on the installation. I'm sure I called Charles way too much throughout the process, but he was always happy to give me guidance. His advice was always sound, and he delivered on everything he promised. I needed a mechanic in an emergency situation--I feel fortunate that I ended up with the best mechanic in Montana!

A follow up to my previous comment below. The folks at Holman read my comments and stepped up to try to make things right for the large catering charge. The knew the price was to be higher than normal to support our request for gluten free pizzas for a few of the passengers, but didn't pass that along to me until after they saw my frustrated comments about the charges. Way to go Holman and way to go AirNav pilot comments!

We have been in there many times and always have been satisfied with the service. The line guys are always on the spot and polite! We stopped in yesterday with 2 PC12's full of people for preordered pizzas and a fuel stop. I do take issue with being charged $250 for 7 pizzas though when they only had to make a phone call for catering though. I was pretty disappointed after buying 240 gallons of fuel and will probably give the other guys a chance the next time we stop in GTF.

Made a quick stop on 7/13 on our way to the east coast. Had great service. Took us over to get some lunch and provided great service while there. Staff was really friendly. If the weather works out, we will be stopping in again on our way back home

Holman provided a courtesy car for local sightseeing for two nights and a day, acquired cheap rates at a very nice local motel and would not accept a tip. Outstanding outfit!

Flew into GTF and received the best of service from the Holman folks. Jamie had made arrangements for the rental car, which was there to meet my little RV-6. Drove to Banff for a great vacation and on our return, Jamie had us set up in a great room at a great Holman rate. Next morning Michael had the plane pulled out of their hangar and ready to load. Holman is the definition of great service.

First class outfit, extraordinarily helpful staff. Landed late Sunday night after long cross-country and they gave us a crew car to use overnight and made sure we knew what was available locally. Second time I've stopped here and will use them again.

Overnight stop proved a very good experience at Holman. They made a hotel reservation at an excellent price, helped move a ton of luggage, tie down the plane and refused (that's right) a tip. Everyone there was wonderful to deal with.

My wife, daughter, and I flew in last Saturday for a little day trip. After a painless experience at the customs office (really, a nice customs officer!), we taxied over to Holman, who marshalled us right in without us needing to call. In return for our very modest business (filling up a half-full 172) we received excellent polite service, the use of their nicely appointed facilities, and the use of the crew car for a half day of running around. The flight planning room even includes links to Canadian weather and flight planning on their computers and a speed dial key on the phone programmed for Canada Customs. We felt very welcomed. I only wish I could have bought more fuel from them. (We did make sure to return the crew car fuelled up, which of course they said we didn't need to do, but I guess I felt guilty about getting the full service experience when I knew they weren't making much money from my visit.) I sure wish we had more FBOs like this in Canada.

Wow! Cleared Customs from Canada just ahead of really bad storm. Called Holman from Customs and asked if they could hangar my Baron. They said sure and as soon as we taxied up they had a tug on it and hauled it into a nearby hangar. Loaned us a crew car for the night and got us great rooms at crew rates in town. Next morning bad weather again and we rushed to the airport to get ahead of some fast moving T-storms and they got us out, fueled and underway in less than 15 mins. Super service!

Flew in enroute form MO to WA. Superb service! Friendly, fast and easy arrangements for overnight stay which extended to a three day stay due to wx over the Rockies. 24-hour operation is very nice feature. Fantastic, modern facility. Fuel price a bit high, but no other fees; you get what you pay for here, like other jet centers, and worth every penney.

Showed up unannounced and were treated royally! They found us a great room at an inexpensive cost - with a hotel shuttle! Well worth any additional fuel cost!! The folks were professional and very friendly staff! When we stopped back again a couple weeks later, they even remembered us! Highly recommend them!!

A great FBO with great people. We had made an emergency landing at Great Falls due to mechanical problems. Even though they were very busy, the Director of Maintenance (Walter) looked at our airplane and worked with our flying club's maintenance officer to have new hardware drop-shipped from three different parts of the U.S. -- all delivered the next day at 0800 and promptly installed on the aircraft so we could depart by noon. Their labor rate was reasonable. Meanwhile, his colleague Kim had sympathy for our situation and had our fuel tanks filled for us at the self-serve rate. The lineman, and the staff at the front desk were very friendly as well. A courtesy car was provided to us (no charge). The entire place, including the maintenance hangar, is clean, neat, and professional. Nice couches & chairs in the lobby, vending machines, Wi-Fi Internet, and a separate flight planning room with two workstations make any visit there very comfortable.
