As expected for this type of field, fuel is expensive. They cater to jets are larger airplanes (and make no bones about it) but the service is of very good quality. They are friendly to all pilots and their line guys really put the lead out when working with your airplane. Treated me and the 210 I was ferrying quite well.

Diverted to ACT for weather (along with several other pilots and many AA flights all waiting to get into Dallas). Texas Aero was wonderful and helped tie the airplane down and stayed open until the weather passed and we could get out. Thanks!!

Into Waco Regional to take my son to a near by youth camp. As I have learned to expect, ACT is at the top of their game. 'The young lady at the desk, who is training to be an air traffic controller, knows exactly what to do and how to go about getting the job done with a kind courteous smile. She truly understands what the GA pilot needs. Consistently, the entire crew at ACT is there to assist. Nice clean commodious facility. Two Thumbs up for ACT.

Stopped for a football game in Waco and was coming back after the 10 PM closing time. Tommy said no problem I will wait. Very courteous and accommodating. Highly recommend.
